This belt needs to be "broken in". The prong gets stuck in the hole that is already too small. It is a struggle to get it off....especially if you need to get it off quickly.

Well I have the same style Ariat belt probably from 15 years ago. I wanted another one when the little nubbin to poke in the holes fell off. It was my favorite belt so I looked for another one. The leather quality is not the same. The picture on Amazon had my old version advertised. The picture has the metal cap end that makes it look really nice as well as the inside of the belt has the words engraved “Courage is trusting your horse to get you there.” Other websites has the version I just got and I was thrilled when I found the picture for this one was the old style. I was disappointed when the new version arrived. I would not have ordered it especially since it was more expensive then the other sites.

This is a great belt, but the end of the tail is too long. So, if you use one of the middle holes, you're going to have a hole lot of belt left over on your waist band. I love the design so much though, I'm going to take it to a shoe repair, and see if a leather person can artfully cut some of the end off. If you buy your size, you will still have a lot of belt left over.
