I've worked through my fair share of zipper boots and they are definitely above average. People notice them and compliment them.Solid zipper, decent laces and comfortable. The interior is soft enough that there was nearly zero break in days. These also seem to hold up in our brutal Minnesota weather quite well with nice grippy soles. I'm about 8 months in and there is some minor fracturing of the surface in the most stressed parts on the sides of my toe joints, but it's only visible if I'm standing on my toes or extending my foot out.I will probably purchase a replacement at the 1-year mark and wear those for office work and keep the originals for home/out and about.

The boot is stylish with nice details and is well made from quality materials. The fit and comfort are perfect for my feet. The zipper seems fine but experience has shown me this is usually the first thing that fails on these style of boot. Only time will tell but so far so good.
