I made the mistake of going with non OEM staples as the hardware store was out of stock on them. I found the ones I purchased did not work as well and caused jams. For the cost I only use the OEM ones. I guess if you are using pounds of them on a regular basis the less expensive ones might be a saving but question the quality.
