Don't think for a second that this shower chair can't be used elsewhere. We installed it at the bottom of our stairs and use it while the lift of the Bruno stair chair gets itself out of the way of the door. Those who have a Bruno probably know what I'm talking about. We knew we needed some kind of fold-up chair attached to the wall and when I saw this shower chair, I knew we had found our solution. It's well made, strong, nice looking and compact. Just make sure you screw it into a stud. On our first iteration we didn't and the chair pulled out of the wall. Second try was successful.
