Worked great when a big name brand kept slipping off of the 1-1/2" snap ring & they're very reasonably priced. There are 4 pair included compared to one pair of the well known brand for just a few dollars more.

Nice cheap set of heavy duty snap ring pliers. Good for large size snap rings. Easy to use with nice comfort handles.

This is a great little anchor and I'm very happy I purchased it.I only have used it three times this past month. It works great for light craft & I'm 225 lbs (including the minimal gear I have).I kayak on the North Saskatchewan River (within the city of Edmonton boundaries). It is a fairly large and fast flow volume river, to say the least. I do my best to paddle upstream for an hour, then the return trip would be just minutes floating with the current.Now I will set anchor on fairweather days and relax, take photos, visit with the folks passing by, etc. I might repurchase the same anchor for kayak #2? At first, I had thought that the lightweight wouldn't be enough, but it is. Just make sure you twist the lock ring to secure in open position.

La compré para usarla en jumóKayac lifetime Tamarack 10 y no me sirvió. Es muy pequeña, aunque de muy buen material.

All my yak buddies are jealous I have this! It’s great, hooks onto rocks, also works as a free weight in deep water to help keep your yak from drifting. It’s compact and the lock that fits around it to lock the legs in place is a great feature and makes it easier to stow away or keep the legs open when in use.

es pequeña muy practica, lo único malo que el perno no ajustaba bien rápido lo perdí y en situaciones donde incremente el viento pierde el agarre

Muy útil para evitar que mi kayak vaya a la deriva con la corriente o el viento. Es un ancla pequeña para embarcaciones muy ligeras y corrientes muy tranquilas, como en una laguna. La utilizo en un fondo fangoso y muy apenas sostiene el kayak, pero con eso basta. La imagen de la publicacion es de referencia, parece que corresponde a un modelo mas grandes. Sólo incluye el ancla y un grillete.

I needed an anchor to tie onto a 18 foot foam Aqua Lily Pad to keep it from floating downstream in the river/lake behind our house. The river has a slow-moving current so the anchor didn't need to be that big and the 1.5 pound version of this anchor worked perfectly. I've also used this anchor on my kayak and paddle board with very satisfactory results. If you're getting an anchor to use anywhere with a decent current or you're looking to anchor any watercraft with a decent bit of weight to it, then I would suggest getting a heavier version.The anchor's top where the loop is to tie off a rope wasn't as pictured on Amazon's website so I'm including my own pictures here. It's a detached loop connected with a metal pin but it's sturdy and I haven't had any issues with the connection becoming loose.
