This is a great tool for many reasons. I wasn’t sure of this brand but it seems like high quality. Because I could never figure out what the 4” measurement was for, I was leery whether it would be okay. To be clear, that 4” is the blade measurement. Packaging needs to be changed so that the label doesn’t leave a horrible sticky residue on the blade.

Had one of these that was about 60-70 years old and like new. As these things sometimes go, it turned up missing (I blame extraterrestrials). Naturally, I had to replace it. The Ateco fills the bill. What is so great about this item, aside from being exactly the right size for what I use it to do, is the construction. It has a full-tang with rivets through a quality wooden handle. Unlike ones with a plastic handle, the blade will never come loose. Because dishwasher detergents deplete the natural oils in wood, handwashing is the proper way to clean it. The only con is the label is pretty hard to remove from the blade. Ateco should bottle it for DIYers who need a glue that sticks to metal.

Sirve para lo que es, pero si se llega a mojar la parte de madera se despinta y mancha los dedos o donde lo dejes

Se ve resistente y bien hecho. Vivo en la playa y no se ha oxidado con el uso. Lo volvería a comprar.

Me encanto el cuchillo, lo utilizo mucho mas para untar queso crema al pan, o matequilla al pan.

Tiene el tamaño perfecto para pasteles de tamaño normal 30cm, es súper cómoda y practica, justo lo que estaba buscando.Incluso sirve para untar mantequilla, dulce de leche a un pan para el desayuno, no la había encontrado en otros lugares.

Beautifully made and reasonably priced. I bought this to use in sculpture. It is not exactly what I want, a bit too stiff to use as a pallet knife, but a tiny fraction of the price of AIT stainless steel japanese pallet knives listed here, which are virtually the same thing. Oh, yeah bakers are poor, all artists are rich. :)I will try taper grinding it to get more flexibility.

This is a great little tool that all chefs should have in their knife wallet. Ecellent flexible blade to help remove those delicate items

Nice and flexible with many uses around the kitchen, just what you would expect from a wood handled palette knife
