Ski bag ripped in two places after only third trip. I was initially reluctant to use because of the lack of thickness/padding but now confirmed the ski bag is inferior and risky for checked baggage.

Around the time I was looking for a ski bag, this was the cheapest solution and it came with a boot bag to boot.I use 175cm alpine skis and there's still a good amount of room in it. It looks like it has space for two but I'm not too sure.Material wise, it feels quite sturdy. The straps on the other hand are a bit cheap, the buckles anyways. The boot bag is quite handy. I managed to fit my boots and even my helmet too.Altogether, these two bags carry my ski gear. I wouldn't use these to travel on a plane with, there being no cushion, but storage at home? Why not.

Great product and reasonably priced! easy to use clips for security and to fold over top to make shorter for acceptance by airlines. Easy slide zipper, seem sturdy. Taking it on a flight today.Traveled well, durable. Recommended to friend who purchased same set in different color.

I was skeptical on this combo after reading reviews that boots barely fit and you couldn't put anything else inside it. When I got it, I wiped down my 27.5 cm HEAD ski boots and inside they went into the main compartment. Then, I cleaned my K2 Rant Helmet and inside it went also. Then my Oakley goggles went inside (between the boots and the helmet). There is still space around these items for either a towel, a sweater, thermo socks, thermo undies, or a scarf (just depends how you fold them); the zipper closed with ease. On the outside compartment, I placed my ski gloves and my head sock and there's still room for more stuff such as a small towel, thermo socks, thermo undies, or a scarf (again, it just depends how you fold them); the zipper also closed with ease. I have 153 cm K2 skis and 48 inch ski poles and putting them in the (185 cm) ski bag was not a problem, there's plenty of room left over for walking shoes, a folder jacket or even a pair of pants (clothing fits if rolled up like a burrito). The contrast of the silver and black colors with the red "A" (logo) is pretty sharp for both bags and the "fabric" feels very durable. The boot bag has a "cardboard or plastic" bottom that is removable, leave it there so your boots can travel leveled. Both bags do not have drainage holes, then again, why would you want to put a wet or moist item inside a bag, it just spells trouble. I highly recommend this combo for anyone who's on a budget, wants style, wants durability, and wants space. Oh and I forgot to mention, the ski bag and the main compartment of the boot bag comes with locks and keys and the boot bag has an adjustable and detachable shoulder strap.

The bags are good for storing and carrying ski equipment. They are not padded, so I probably would get something better if I had very expensive equipment and planned to travel by plane.
