Bought a '09 Club Car Precedent after it had sat for years. Initially, only knew it needed new batteries. After installing new LiFePro4 batteries and bypassing the OBC, it ran! But despite good acceleration initially, it would bog down and only run about 5mph. Pedal to the floor, it would slow down progressively, sometimes stopping completely. Found a solution on Reddit saying this was bad and the motor is stuck in "limp mode" to protect the motor. This took 15 minutes to install, and now it's running at 20mph!

This works like a charm. I'd just got my Club Car Precedent 2009 up and running after years in storage and it's top speed was 6mph. I did have to jack the right rear and take off that wheel for access, but the wire harness clip and two 5/16" screws for the "TOP HAT" part. One bolt holds the inner magnet. Most bang for the buck repair I've done.

My Cart started running like it was in Limp mode (very slow, no power), shop said the magnet sender was damaged - it would cost $250.00 to fix.I found this product and figured it was worth the chance that it might work!It was os easy to put in and it worked well. Looks just like the one I took out and yes there was a hair line crack in the magnet.I'd buy it again !I'd tell others !AAA+++
