I was skeptical that this would work as advertised. It did work for a while and codes for the IAC didn't return for a few months, but now I'm back to check engine light on and truck running and idling improperly and codes returned. This part isn't to manufacturer specs and had I spent more time reading the other reviews, would have hard passed and went straight to the dealer or any other auto parts store for a spec correct part. The original worked for 16+ years with the previous owner and improper maintenance. This one worked for less than 6 months with truck maintained properly.

Back to same idle problem after one week. It's obviously an IAC issue because after the install the problem was solved. For one week. This is the third cheap IAC that didn't last. I should bite the bullet and buy the OEM replacement. I've already spent almost as much on 3 cheapo replacements.BTW: The OBD engine analyzer tool said it is a bad IAC.

Bought this to help fix my neighbor's work truck. A little tricky to install on the underside of the throttle body. But, great price and he's happy.

people leaving bad reviews are people who diagnosed their truck wrong. bought this for my 2002 toyota tacoma 2.4l 2rz-fe which sat for a year and idled super high. I had my doubts because I always use oem parts but thought I'd give this a try. worked out perfect and I no longer have a truck idling at 2500rpm's

Well it went to a new problem it will run a real high idle and after i shut off and restart it drops the idle and it randomly .2nd review : 07-10-19 Still having problems with part , I need to replace again do to idle problem , took it to a shop and ran a scan on it , perimeter readings are off on parts .
