I installed this on my family’s 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe as upgraded fog lights. Installation process was straightforward and should’ve been simple. However, I ran into one major issue. The waterproof gasket on my existing wire harness made things too tight to securely connect. I tried several times with no luck and eventually gave up. Once I removed the rubber gasket, the wire harness connected the light perfectly. The connection was snug enough it required a little effort and everything clicked together nicely.I took some little zip ties and secured the pigtails to other wiring in a way that would prevent water ingress. because the gasket wouldn’t fit, the best thing would probably be to use a little dielectric grease to help ensure water doesn’t get in causing corrosion or short. I took one star off for not being able to use a waterproof gasket. In the end, I’m extremely happy with the results but only time will tell if they are designed/built to last. I will also note that if you have the vehicle off and your head by the bulbs, you can hear the fans working to keep them cool.Pros:- Provides better visibility and safety for nighttime driving.- Rather easy to install even with the complications I had.Cons:- Was not able to use OEM waterproof wire harness gasket.- The fans could be a little distracting if you parked your vehicle inside a soundproof room and left the lights on.Would I recommend this item to a friend? 100%.

These are amazing!! Had beamtech led before. These are way brighter and come with a 2 year warranty… used in a 2013 Ram 1500 with projector headlights. Will update if any issues arise but so far I love them

Always been a fan of auxbeam from day 1 and still auxbeam amazes me with their lights. This is the low beam h11 and they are bright as hell. My last pair of auxbeam were the switchbacks but the right side was dimming out so it was time for an upgrade.

I ordered these AUXBEAM F18 Series LED lamps (9005/HB3 and 9006/HB4 lamps, two each) for my truck because of their all-aluminum construction, innovative cooling system, and stated light output (22,000LM). I was also hoping that they would work in my vehicle without the need for the resistor wiring harness that so many lamp/vehicle combinations require. So, today I was finally able to spend several hours testing LED lamps in my truck and hoping for the best. The manufacturer says these lamps are 99% CANBUS compatible. I found that my truck is in the remaining 1%. The lamps had issues with turning off, caused my LED fog lamps not to work, and caused my low beam lamps to flash. That said, if I connected them using a set of accessory resistor wiring harnesses they would work perfectly. I really hate being in the 1% that never works right. These LED lamps are designed with an all-aluminum shell and a 15,000RPM silent fan with a relatively large heatsink area on the rear of the lamp. Additionally, the LED chips are mounted on a copper core with a liquid-filled copper tube that runs down the spine of the lamp and then encircles the finned heatsink area. The manufacturer says that the lamps are equipped with temperature control chips which, I assume, are incorporated to control the 15,000RPM fans to ensure that the lamps remain in a proper operating temperature range. Because of the relatively large heatsink area on the rear of the lamp, the wiring is accomplished via a short wiring harness that terminates in a proper socket for connection to the vehicles wiring. I found that the 15,000RPM fans were very quiet, but not silent. When I had the hood up and was looking into the engine compartment, you could hear a little bit of sound, but not much. These lamps use a two-piece design where the plastic mounting ring is separate from the lamp body. I have found that this design can be problematic since the lamp body may spin inside the plastic mounting ring and sometimes the plastic mounting ring can be very difficult to remove from the headlamp assembly. Some manufacturers claim that the reason for this design was so that you could “clock” the LED lamps into the proper position with respect to the headlamp assembly’s reflector surfaces. That really should not be an issue. This design also requires the use of two separate “O-rings” for each lamp. These lamps are very bright, the color is 6,500K which very white and is not at all blue, and the light pattern was absolutely perfect. There was no issue with the lamps needing to be “Clocked.” The available space behind the headlamp assembly was not much of an issue with these lamps. The short wiring harness that terminates in a connector socket was a little difficult to deal with, but not much. Unfortunately for me, these lamps require the use of a set of resistor wiring harnesses, but that problem is with my vehicle and not the AUXBEAM LED lamps.
