A lot of fun! You can do a few work arounds to not buy this, but if you can, it adds to the presence of the game. It's great and, if you can, you should probably buy both the Avatar RPG Book and the starter set at the same time.

I've been wanted to get my hands on the Avatar TTRPG since they announced it a couple years ago. Really enjoying the system and universe, as a far of both series within.The GM screen is the perfect accessory for any starting game master. The back side is absolutely gorgeous. Truth be told, I'm probably going to use it for DnD just because I love the art. The inside is absolutely LOADED with tables, charts and facts to help run the game. They crammed as much information as they could to have as a quick reference for anyone running it. Super helpful, love having it.

Es el starter set más completonque he visto por ese precio, trae todo lo que necesitas para jugar.

Fue un regalo para mi hijo . Y lo único que pude ver fue la expresión que fue la mejor elección que pude hacer . Los muñecos que trae , buen tamaño y excelente diseño . Y que es un juego completo . Ya que lo venden todo por separado .

This is a gorgeous, comprehensive rulebook that gives plenty of detailed background on Republic City from Legend of Korra. It's so much that after reading it, you'll be able to run an adventure in Republic City with confidence. To give you an idea of what you'll find inside, it includes:About 15 pages of detail on Pro-Bending, including rules, how to run a tournament, status changes during a match, and more.About 15 pages on cars and vehicle chases, including rules, car types with attributes, and more.About 10 pages on Mechas, including some sample Mechas that it explicitly tells you that you can either use directly or use as templates for creating your own.Many, many pages about sectors of the city, complete with some well-developed NPCs, named shops, underground gangs, businesses, politicians, markets, and a variety of conflicts between any and all of these people/organizations that can serve as potential plot hooks.It also features beautiful artwork (as you can see in the attached picture) in the exact style that you expect if you've watched the show or read the comics.I've included a few other photos of pieces of the rulebook above, including What Is This Book, How to Use This Book, and Using This Book in Other Eras, that should give you a good idea of what the book contains and how it might be useful to you as a Game Master.Like most good game master guides, this book relies heavily on fleshing out settings, characters, new playable character types, relationships between organizations and cultures, abilities, and items, leaving most of the direct adventure planning to GMs. However, there is one pre-written adventure included in here for your enjoyment.Overall, this is a great supplement for anyone who loves AtLA's Legend of Korra, allowing you to live in the Avatar world in the 1920s-esque setting of Republic City. As I said in the title, YOU WILL NEED THE CORE RULEBOOK TO PLAY - this book does not have information on the basic core rules of character creation or abilities, and it assumes your knowledge of terms like "Favored" as defined in the game. But if you already know the game or have the base/core rulebook, and want some Korra-flavored gameplay at your table, this book does a great job of providing GMs the specific tools and inspiration in order to do so.

Avatar is one of those shows I was a little embarrassed I watched because I was 40 at the time of it’s release. Made for Nickalodian it was definitely geared towards young kids and preteens. But the story is amazing. I just needed to look past the silliness and focus on the story. I hope this storyline gets a rewrite at some point now that those children are in their late twenties and early thirties and would be craving an adult telling of this story.This RPG is very unique. If you are familiar with any of the D&D, Pathfinder, or the original west end star wars RPG’s you have the basic mind set for how to enjoy these types of games. Many criticisms of those systems is they focus too heavily on the roll-playing and not the role-playing. They each have very complex rule systems.This game by comparison is full on role-play! Most of the action is all player interaction. Only the players role dice to resolve actions. The gamemaster chooses the interactions that will modify your balance.This supplement comes with 3 new playbooks and republic city takes place far in the future of the Avatar storyline so if the thought of vehicles and mechs bother you you may want to stick with the core rules. This book comes with many adventure hooks and there are rules for some fun activities like probending (Avatar football 😀) and racing.You will need the Avatar Legends The Roleplaying Game: Core Book to use this supplement. Search the asin 1952885698 on amazon.This book like all the other book is very well made! This perfect bound book has a beautiful cover that has a great picture mech in battle. Printed in 5 colors with a glossy varnish it’s gorgeous. The pages are of heavy weight dull text instead of a shiny gloss which is a great choice for readability. It also comes with a single built in ribbon bookmark. A nice touch!Amazing game. Amazing book!
