Where has this been for the last 10 years? I've been upgrading a lot of my light switches to z-wave switches for my smart home, and my fingers have had blisters from twisting the wire nuts since I have to add a neutral to each switch. Having this tool has made my life so much better. Just note, I've seen some of these that are metal, this one is plastic. Not that that is a deal breaker by any means, just a note on the product.

Set your expectations accordingly. If you expect it to perform in all wires and wire nuts you will be disappointed. I just tried them on a wall light installation and they were not useful. The thin stranded wires from the wall light cannot be twisted together with the 14 awg solid wire in the wall. The small orange wire nuts without the ears (side tabs) could not be twisted by the blue tool. So why am I giving this 5 stars? I tested it on some 14 awg wires with a large red nut and it worked great. I used my hand driver but I think I would use a drill if I was wiring multiple boxes. For $7 I think it is a good tool set to have in the toolbox. It has a specific use case, and if you accept that, you may also give it 5 stars.

Chose this product as it claimed "made from premium 304 stainless steel". However once I received it, I preformed a quick magnet test and it is not in fact Stainless Steel. There is also visible rust inside the cone.
