I bought this scale to be able to weigh yarn for an upcoming project. I did take it for a test drive with some kitchen items, and it appears to do exactly what I will need. I appreciate the fact that it is rechargeable.

This scale works great. This purchase was for new version of the scale I bought in 2017. The on-off switch stopped working after years of heavy use in home wine making. So the new one has updated software and is working well. On the old one I actually got the on-off switch working again with a little cleaning, however during the disassembly the mechanism may have been damaged as it doesn't register a weight anymore. I tried recalibrating but no help. If there are any tricks to get the old one working let me know.

I don't have a way to check the accuracy at this time, but measurements are very consistent from item to item. This scale is plenty accurate enough for my purposes. Battery lasts for quite a while under my usage conditions. I use the scale a couple times a week. A charge lasts several months for me.

I'm a knitter who doesn't like playing yarn chicken. To avoid this game, I purchased this scale which has definitely saved my tail end on multiple occasions and has allowed me to plan yarn changes more logically. No more socks with incomplete toes or cuffs! For yarn that doesn't fit entirely on the metal tray, I turn the large main plastic cover over to create a larger weighing container.
