This pillow is cute for a dog but my dog doesn’t use it to sleep but instead as a toy. It doesn’t last long as a toy as it rips a hole in the side. I’ve purchased two and had to sew each one when it ripped.

My Maltese dog is pretty calm to begin with but does like her head propped up so I thought she’d take to this immediately but she mostly has rejected it. I don’t think it’s the fault of the pillow. She has a down filled pillow she favors instead. She may come to like the ‘calming pillow’ so I will continue offering it.

I will buy just about anything for my 13-year-old Labrador, but she doesn't actually appreciate much. However, she really loves this pillow. In fact, I got her that $400 Orvis dog bed for seniors and she just couldn't even be bothered to sit on it... this cheap little pillow, however, is her absolute favorite thing and I think actually helps a lot in keeping her comfortable while she is snoozing.

If I tuck the pillow under my maltipoo’s head when she is lying in her back, she will be still and use it, but she literally moves away from it when she comes across it in her favorite napping space. Maybe some dogs can figure it out, but my dog does not do pillows.
