I used these to bake individual servings of homemade dog food for the freezer. I love the size & shape, however, deapire washing 3 times & soaking in baking soda, the ground turkey odor remains. I want to be able to use these for mini cakes, but will not be able to unless the manufacturer can tell me how to get the odor out.

No complaints. Easy to clean and it’s easy to release food from the cups. Recommended!

First, I love this set. I thought the muffins were the perfect size. They’re not huge, but not tiny either. I love the color as well, despite how unimportant that is in the grand scheme of things. It’s just so pretty and vibrant. When I was growing up, everything was muted grays or navy blues, but this is a joyous color.Onto what I’ve learned. It might be best to dry run the bakeware through the oven to get the chemical scent out before putting food in it. Just to be safe, yeah? My bad.Put the bakeware on a cookie sheet, not the rack. While bread slices may cook evenly on a rack, batter will not in (this?) silicone bakeware. The top will cook while the bottom will remain raw—at least in the time that it takes to cook muffins. I tried the rack, gave it more time when it turned out half raw, and then put it on a cookie sheet. That’s when the bottom half finally cooked. The three times I made the same muffins previously, I placed them on cookie sheets.Do remove your muffins from the pan. Otherwise, they have the tendency to stay extra moist on the bottom. Doesn’t bother me, but not everyone likes their baked goods quite that moist. I do very much appreciate the fact that silicone bakeware tends to produce more moist results than non-silicone, but there’s probably a limit for most people. This is not the only silicone bakeware I just started using. All of them are dishwasher safe, but ended up with a lot of spots. It’s so bad that it actually looks like there’s a film of residue all over them as well as the spots. I wash them by hand, and they’re extremely easy to clean this way, I think. I use a scrub daddy sponge, so perhaps that has something to do with it. But I was able to get all of the residue off of them and they look brand new. They don’t hold onto any food, so I can’t imagine ever needing to scrape any out.I think the best thing I’ve noticed is they don’t warp even if they’re not stored perfectly flat. Amazing and wonderful.
