I keep it in my truck toolbox just for when I have that newly purchased product sticking out in back of my truck. It is made of a coated material that makes it waterproof and will extend its life for a long time. I haven't used the quick link yet so far, just using a roofing nail and tacking to the end of the lumber. I gave one to my son and another to a good friend. The perfect safety flag.

Durable thick material and overall construction appears solid. There is a metal rod running within the top of the flag to keep it's form tough only runs approx 90% of the length so you could see a little fold over on the edges. I like the included linkage, as it's easy to keep on hand as attach as needed. One enhancement I'd like to see is additional grommets it in the top corners for more attachment options.

No idea how long these things will last, but they don't inspire a whole bunch of confidence. I could be very wrong and they could outlast my expectations beyond anything I thought possible. Will update review after some more time.

I'm a casual DIYer with a pickup, and I find it useful, from time to time, to haul items that extend beyond the length of my truck's bed. I picked up these flags as an additional safety measure, when hauling lumber or other items that may not otherwise be clearly visible. I'm not a professional hauler and am not sure what the laws require, however simple common sense tells me it's wise to place a warning flag at the end of these items.These flags are nicely weighted with heavy duty fabric, and are affixed with an equally heavy duty clip. For me, the trick is deciding how to affix the flag to my lumber. I can wrap the ends with a strap and hook the clip to the same strap. I've a.so just hammered in a Romex staple to the end of the 2x4 I'm hauling, and clip the flag to that. Just be sure you've hammered in the staple effectively as there is a fair amount of turbulence when moving along the road.So, if you're like me and appreciate the extra margin of safety these flags deliver, I think you'll be pleased with their quality. Five stars.
