The solenoid did not work at all, and although it's touted as a 1.5" valve the design restricts water flow so much that it could never allow the volume of a true 1.5" valve.

I bought this brand because it was $100 cheaper than the brand I normally use which was a huge mistake. This solenoid valve is used to fill up my water storage tanks and half of time when float valve circuit is closed + 120v is sent to this device, it does not open. It just gets really hot. I thought it might be due to not getting enough voltage but I've tested it many times and the voltage is fine. I've used Duda Diesel valve for years and they are 100% reliable but this brand is at most 50% reliable. If you plan on using this device in a critical location, DO NOT USE THIS DEVICE.

First item did not work so I exchanged for another one. Second one also did not work. AVIOD this product!
