My dog loves the fact everybody tells her she looks beautiful with this cone . I love this a lot ! Comfortable and easy to clean.

Our dog has worn the plastic cone of shame before and hated it. She even managed to pull the last one off, so we bought the soft donut collar this time. It's been 28 hours since her surgery and she has yet to pay any attention to it. When she lays down she uses it as a pillow. It will be on her for another 13 days, so we won't be able to fully judge the success until then. So far it is very promising.This is a third day update. Well, I had to knock the collar down one star because our dog was able to reach her hind leg stitches and lick them. We're keeping the collar on her, but now she must be closely watched at all times.On day four she tore out most of her hind leg stitches during the night, so the vet put in staples and switched her to a traditional cone. Unfortunately the donut only kept her from reaching the closest wounds. I think it needs to be made wider and thicker.

My dog is 13lbs. He was just neutered, and he needed something to help him not lick his incision. This looked idea, BUT it was SO DISAPPOINTING. It went on great, no issues. Within 1 min I looked over and he was licking his incision, this did nothing to prevent it. There needs to be at least one more ring. When I went to take it off, I nearly decapitated him, it would not come off. He was crying and I was freaking out. I had to CUT this off of my tiny dog. I do not recommend this whatsoever. I'd choose negative stars if I could.

Our old lab/pitty had ear surgery today--the real 'cones' are just so mean to use! So I ordered one of these (size 2xl)--fits great, works great, and also functions as a pillow! Since he has to wear it 14 days (to keep him from kicking the stitches) I'm ordering a 2nd one to have for when one needs cleaning/washing.I know he's not thrilled with having to wear any type of cone, but I think this is the best option I've come across.It's well made, and I love the ribbing around the neck and the cord to tighten/loosen.Thanks for offering this item!

So much better than a plastic collar at keeping pets from licking their wounds and hot spots. When my little guy lays down the collar acts like a little pillow for his head.
