I had to replace the old ones from my 2004 sea pro sv1900. AT 1st I tried to weld a new stainless pipe to the bottom and insert a new brass coupling, but that didnt turn out that great. Luckily i found these for $27 ea and were stainless....you cant beat them they are perfect. The only thing is the overall measuements arent correct on the listing. These are 4"×8" NOT 5"x9". Perfect match to my originals.

This is exactly as described.Constructed from thick marine-grade stainless steel sheet and tubing. Good quality SS welding throughout. There is a 3/4" acetal bushing at the top to accept the seat post. It accepts my Better Boats post and/or seat base without any problems. This should work very nicely for my planned boat upgrade to add a casting deck and swivel seat.

This is a solid seat base. It gives good support. No corrosion or rusting as of yet. Looks like quality stainless so i really don’t expect it to.
