So far, haven't had any complaints with these. Bought two pairs of these boots on recommendation of my captain after injuring my foot doing 12 miles of foot patrol a day. Paired these with some good insoles and I'm confident the composite toe will aide me in some hand-to-hand encounters later on in the future.Usually don't like side-zipper set-ups; but, these boots are particularly sturdy with their zipper design. You definitely won't be regretting an investment in these boots.

Holds up in day to day work , nothing special .For the dollar relatively durable , don’t abuse them clean them up a little , you know normal care . But perhaps for some people it’s easier to say the boots suck because they don’t take care of their possessions .I believe the sucking sound may be the money flying from their pockets , because everything they own and neglect has to be replaced .

I am prior NG, my army size was 10W, ordered same. The ceiling on the composite toe is too low. Even a thin sock would wear out very quickly on a march. Material is much more padded than expected, feet may get warm. Be advised, there is no gusset with the side zip, which is very helpful getting in/out of boots. Going to look for something else to accommodate my toes better. Competitively priced on Amazon.
