This Behringer NX6000D amplifier is perfect for powering multiple large home theater subwoofers. The integrated DSP lets you to set a High Pass Filter (HPF), a Voltage Peak Limiter, and custom EQ for each output allowing you to get the most out of any subwoofer design, while protecting the drivers from over-excursion or over-heating.This is the most power you can get from an amplifier in this price range. The Behringer NX6000D is widely used, and widely discussed in online audio forums. While it does not put out its advertised power rating, it is still the best bang for your buck under $800. Most reviewers and industry professionals say this NX6000D will put out 1,200 watts per channel into 4 ohms with peaks up to 1,600 watts. This is a lot of power for the vast majority of subwoofer designs.Common criticisms of the Behringer NX amps are durability, and fan noise. I have been pushing three of these amps hard into 6 subwoofers for the last several years, and have never had a problem. The proper use of the Voltage Peak Limiter in this "DSP" amp solves the problem that many users experience when they overdrive their "non-DSP" amps and push them into protect mode. The Voltage Peak Limiter makes the "D" "DSP" version of this amp worth the difference in price over the "non-DSP" version. The fan noise is indeed present, but not noticeable when movies/tv are actually playing. Some people still like to do a fan swap mod, which makes this amp almost silent.I have been very happy with my NX6000D amps, and recommend them to anyone who needs up to 1,200 watts per channel.

This amp has outperformed my expectations. We ran 2 fane colossus 18xb's linked and 2 500w linked into 2 subs a channel and ran this all night with no issues. really warm low end. what I would say is that if you are already running a dsp you wont really need the extra crossover end eq functionality that this provides. saying that its nice to have an extra set of limiter setup a touch higher than the dsp to catch anything just in case.

I've used this amp since Dec 2018, powering dual Ultimax 15" subs and I haven't had any issues with it. Plenty of power leaving me with a good amount of headroom for my subs, room shaking at just over half power. DSP software was easy to use. Very good alternative to it's older sibling the iNuke.
