Really smooth great feel, easy installationI tried other protectors, and they were good for palm protection or outer shell protection. But they made the touchpad rough or non-smooth.This one is really smooth. It quite easy to install. It has enough stickiness to stay in place, but also to be lifted and repositioned. I had one small dust under one corner. I lifted the protector and the dust was on the touchpad side, not on the sticky layer. This made it very easy to remove the dirt without leaving mark on the protector.I guess there aren't that many reviews because people don't know much about this one, or afraid of buying a transparent one. I would strongly recommend this one if you want to keep the smooth feeling of the original touch pad.

I got this screen protector for my 16” MacBook Pro mainly to keep the trackpad from getting shiny like it did on my old machine. For ten bucks, it’s honestly hard to beat. The fit is spot on—it lines up perfectly, and once it’s on, you can barely see it. There are a few tiny dark spots and air bubbles (check the photo if you’re curious, but note that it doesn't look as stark in person). Nothing that messes with use or looks bad enough to care about.The installation was pretty easy. Took a minute or two to line up, and while I noticed the texture at first, that feeling faded fast. Now I barely remember it’s even there. It’s thin enough that it doesn’t mess with gestures or responsiveness, but there’s enough thickness to give some peace of mind. You still feel like you’re using the original trackpad, which is what I was hoping for.In terms of functionality, it does exactly what it needs to do—protects without getting in the way. That’s really all I wanted. For something that looks like a simple piece of plastic, the quality feels decent. It doesn’t have a cheap feel when you’re using the trackpad, and that’s important.Overall, I’d say the value for money is solid. For ten bucks, you’re getting a screen protector that works, fits right, and doesn’t ruin the feel of your MacBook. Can’t ask for much more than that.

I actually got this for my HP laptop which seems to have no accessories available to protect the trackpad and keyboard. I was able to cut this down to size so it fits the trackpad perfectly and so far it has been holding up well to the spills and splatters of life with kids and pets. Cutting it to size was easy since I could lay it down over my track pad and trim it slightly (the trackpad is very similar sized to the mac) and it adhered easily and has kept in place.

Hands down the best trackpad protector I’ve ever applied. Everything you need is in the package and you get a pair just in case you need a second chance. My favorite thing is how natural it feels, almost indistinguishable from the bare trackpad.One thing to note before you apply the film is the sheet it’s attached to is very delicate and can be pulled away with almost no force so be careful and take your time. Although I couldn’t get it lined up 100% accurately, I’m still very satisfied since there were zero bubbles or dust trapped underneath.This seems like a hidden gem and really hope anyone in need of a protector chooses this.
