I bought this for my husband for Christmas but when it came it has a US plug so I bought an adapter. The voltage of the device is lower than UK sockets so upon first use it exploded and could have caused a fire. This product should come with a suitable UK adapter or should not be sold in the UK

La taza es más grande de lo que esperaba,El calentador sirve para cualquier tipo de taza lo cual es ideal, la conexión es básica a la luz de 120 v excelente para la oficina

I've always got a cup of coffee or tea sitting by me and hate when it gets cold too fast. I got this & put on my little side table next to me. When the weight of your cup is set on it, the warmer turns on. There is an indicator light so you know. As your cup nears empty, if you set the cup off to the side a little offcenter, the weight is not enough to turn it on & you won't end up with burned coffee. It can get the last bit of liquid pretty hot so you do want to watch that. I also love the way the bottom of my cup is warm and I can warm up my hands. The cup that comes with it is pretty nice but will work with any kind of cup that can withstand heat. This would be great to keep in your bathroom or bedroom to use while getting ready for work, etc. Great gift for any tea or coffee lover and comes in a nice box for presentation.
