I bought these to transfer liquid from bottles of snow cone concentrates. I have had to throw a few of them away because of cracking in the bulbs so I'll eventually have to order again. The necks of the bottles are too narrow to use a traditional baster. I've seen some glass basters on Amazon that would likely fulfill my need and last a lot longer then these plastic pipettes but I have seen way too many reviews which complained about receiving the basters with breakage.

I used these to remove excess water from succulents that are planted in glass with no drainage...it works well

These are Very Long plastic pipettes. They are flexible, too. Slightly moldable with heat. A hot hairdryer could allow the plastic to bend. These pipettes are good for general applications and not for uber precise measurements. Example: measuring 8 ml of liquid fertilizer for a gal of water mixture.

I don't work in a lab, so I can't speak to the precise accuracy of these pipettes, but for my purposes, dosing aquarium fertilizers, supplements and treatments, these work great. So far only one of them has cracked on me, so they are reasonably sturdy and good for many uses.
