Purchased this cloth to remove lead excess from a cylinder on a stainless revolver. Reputation is what brought me to purchase this to give it a try. After cleaning my firearm, I wanted to use this to remove the extra lead as it is advertised to do. I followed the instructions on the pouch perfectly and what I found was that it did not work in my particular situation. The cleaning power was not as advertised so I feel that the value for what I paid was virtually worthless. I don’t know if I got a defective cloth, but it definitely did not live up to what I expected. The picture of the cylinder in this review was after using the cloth. You can still see traces of lead that it did not remove.

Lo compré para retirar puntos de óxido del cañón de un rifle y tallando fuerte logré disminuirlos algo. Creo se requiere hacerlo un par de veces más después de usarlo.

This does a good job with stubborn carbon fouling and light rust. Not for heavy removal but very good for intended application as advertised.

The Birchwood - Casey products are the very best to get that gun-powder residue off of the easy and hard to reach places on your handgun. Excellent product.

I use these on a regular basis to remove excess lead from the front face of the cylinder of my stainless Smith and Wesson revolver.

This cloth is the easiest way to remove the lead residue from a revolver’s cylinder. Just scrub for a few minutes and your revolvers cylinder looks good as new. DO NOT USE THIS CLOTH ON BLUED REVOLVERS! The cloth is good for multiple cleanings. I’ve purchased a handful because this is the best thing I’ve found for this task.
