This company's consistency is all over the place. When you buy off of Amazon, you usually have problems. This one actually worked on my PS1, but the colors were completely overblown. It's to the point where it's unplayable. Take caution before buying.

Apparently Bitfunx have a warning on another popular online retailer telling people to avoid this particular adapter if they plan on using it on a PS2, telling them to use their other version if they want "better picture quality." Why that warning isn't on Amazon is a mystery to me, because that's definitely information the customer needs to know.Long story short: The picture quality on this particular version of the adapter, if you're using a PS2, is GOD-AWFUL. It forces 16:9, so if your TV/monitor doesn't have any way to tweak aspect ratios, you're screwed. Also, whatever de-interlacing/upscaling method they're using is straight garbage. I bought the new Mayflash HDMI adapter for almost half the price, and get better image quality out of it just passing through the YPbPr signal from the PS2 to my TV, and it doesn't have any fancy upscaling/de-interlacing built in... the sound is more punchy and crisp, too! Also, this thing gets uncomfortably warm when in use, and that doesn't speak well for its long-term reliability.I can't speak for the quality of the model that's allegedly "good," and I can't really speak to this adapter's efficacy on PS1, but there are way better, cheaper options if you're looking for an HDMI adapter for the PS2. This thing is WAY overpriced when you take into consideration all its downfalls.

Tested on unmodded PS2 on a Sony TV. Works as expected, not expecting miracles but no fuzz or anything weird. I've had ones from other brands have weird issues like that but it looks pretty good for all the "upscaling" it has to do for a larger TV. Great stuff if you're not into emulation.

Nothing crazy to report here, and really no need for pictures beyond what they provided as everything they show lines up as you'd expect. You get everything you need to convert the legacy PS1/PS2 A/V out port to HDMI, including an HDMI cable. After connecting everything I plugged the HDMI cable into my receiver and switched to that input. As with the standard A/V out, it worked perfectly. Audio and video synced properly, no noticeable delay in either channel, and a much simpler way to connect to modern equipment.Overall this is a great way to keep your old systems able to connect to modern televisions and receivers at a great price.
