How to connect with Nintendo N64 Switch Controller:1. Plug unit into original N64 and power on2. Take N64 wireless controller and hit Sync button and hold for 3-4 seconds3. Should Auto Sync.Also, if you've already synced the N64 controller to your switch, make sure switch is off or far away in another room.

Just ordered these for an old school game night and thought it would be sweet to update the n64 set up, bring old school into the modern era without losing that nostalgic charm of course. I’ve only tested these for an hour. There’s no delay input lag with a wireless NSO n64 controller vs an original n64 wired controller. I have one of each set up in super smash bros where input lag matters and they’re exactly the same. My only concern is having 4 of these dongles plugged into the same n64 system. I’ve heard issues can arise if your power supply to the console isn’t great. I’ll test this out later and come back with a revised review but as of now I’m very impressed. It was super easy to set up too, within seconds. It seems like you have to pair every time you turn the console on but it’s so quick it isn’t an annoyance. UPDATE: I have tested all 4 dongles with 4 wireless Nintendo n64 controllers with no issues. The system handed 4 beautifully. My one minor complaint was one of the dongles wouldn’t connect but once I turned the system on and off, it worked fine. Excited to have a game night without wires covering my living room floor!

Works perfectly out of the box with the Switch N64 controller. Basically no setup. Plug in the dongle, turn on the 64, and sync the controller. Default buttons are mapped already. Got all the medals over again in Star Fox 64 and never had any desync or latency problems along the way.

I've been using the PS5 controller for my Xbox One with the Brooke adapter I bought for it. Wanted to use it for my N64, and it took a while for me to get itnto work. I was able to play an N64 repro of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-Master Quest, and it surprizingly works as if it was an N64 controller. It even vibrates for games that has a rumble feature. Ganondorf's castle crumbling in a cutscene made me realize that first hand. Now I know what I'm playing with for any N64 game... waiting on the GameCube adapter, expecting similar results.
