I bought this saw for a kitchen remodel (mostly to cut flooring) but then discovered that I use it for everything. I already had the right rechargeable batteries for my drill. It is so much easier to use and so much more versatile than my corded jigsaw. I wish that I bought it years ago. Highly recommend!

Handles heavy intense work for both metal and wood.Will not last forever but is taking a beating right now.Worth the money

A simple vista se mira muy buena herramienta, falta ponerla a trabajar para probarla, se mira de buen material

Compré el BDCJS20B y lo regresé porque no incluye la bateria... lo cambié por el BDCJS20C que si la incluye y es una "CHULADA"... Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

This jigsaw is a beast for a portable device. I got it on sale for less than $40 before taxes which is a very good price point (regular price is too inflated so definitely wait for it to go on sale). I have also used it to cut through our kitchen countertop and it did an amazing job. The battery life is not too bad lasting about 15 minutes, but occasionally I do need a second battery for a couple minutes more of cutting. Using the right blades, it cuts through like butter and feel comfortable in the hand. It's easy to use and nothing for me to dislike about it with several variable speeds depending on how hard I press the trigger.Safety tip: Always use safety glasses when using this to avoid getting debris and saw dust in your eyes.

La verdad me encanto esta caladora, por su versatilidad, no se si sea herramienta casera, pero ami me ha respondido en trabajos pesados y sin fallas!!! Y el precio esta de 10!!!

Seems to have a lot of power for a DIY grade tool. I bought a bunch of B&D 20V lithium tools a few years back. While they are not as powerful as a contractor grade tool they get the job done for a good price. I have 6 other tools and 7 batteries and 2 quick chargers, so I never run out of charge.This unit is supplied WITHOUT a battery or charger, you must provide your own.I was surprised at the hefty weight of this tool, I don't know if it's any indication of the tools quality. I put a battery into it and used it to cut up a few pieces of plywood. It had good power. I's certainly easier to use than a corded tool, if you really need the power then skip this and buy a corded tool. Being cordless sure is nice when in tight quarters or on a roof or attic.The only issue I have is that the foot plate must be loosened with a hex key (provided) in order to make angled cuts. A lever would be nicer.This uses the Bosch style blades instead of the more common straight ones. It will mount the blade without tools, which is nice. I have a bunch of the "other" style blades so I'll have to buy some for this tool.
