Smoothie Queen

I had previously bought a Ninja and the noise was so loud when blending frozen fruit for my smoothies, I had to return. That got me looking into blenders with noise dampening hoods attached. I bought this one and since I just make individual smoothies, I have only used it with the Blendtec GO (30 oz) Bottle, Reusable Single Serve Blender Cup. The GO Bottle and noise dampening hood are remarkable. The smoothie cycle is 1 minute and is quiet, no earplugs needed! It blends my almond milk, frozen banana, frozen avocado, spinach, protein powder into a delightful smoothie I have every day. It is well worth the money and you'll save your hearing/no ear trauma!

La licuadora llegó perfectamente empacada y nueva, la atención del proveedor es buena, son muy amables.En general todo muy bien 👍

El producto funciona súper bien no tengo ninguna queja, solo la forma en la que lo empacaron me pareció que no fue la correcta, la caja venía toda golpeada y bisutería traía alguna etiqueta de frágil, al repartidor hasta se le cayó por lo mismo que no viene empacada el buenas condiciones

I make a smoothie for my wife and myself every weekday morning. Our old Target blender was so loud you couldn't think clearly if you were in the same room. I took a gamble on this and won! It isn't silent. I suspect no blender is. But, it is way, way quieter than any blender I've ever been around. The enclosure makes a huge difference. And it looks like an operating suite inside. So clean. I'm very pleased with it. If it lasts 10 years it will be worth it. If it goes toes-up in two years, not so much. Time will tell, but for now...YAY!!! Quietness and smoothies have met and it is glorious!Update (1/17/23): After just over 1 year of ownership the Blendtec has a problem. We tried the soup mode and had to turn it off manually before the timer ended due to a very strong smell of burning electronics. After an hour or so of letting it cool down it would not run properly. It has been sent off for warranty work. Hopefully it will return as good as new. Will update this review once I have run it again.

El equipo es magnífico en su desempeño. Pero hay algo que no me parece coherente, tengo aproximadamente dos meses de uso y el desgaste de las piezas se me hace mucho, en la imagen que agregué se muestra y siento que dos meses mas y se barre o patina completamente. Ahora ocupo ayuda para conseguir las cuchillas y la parte del receptor que también me parece desgastado, alguien me puede apoyar orientando e donde conseguir ambas cosas, o se tiene que comprar el vaso completo.?ACTUALIZACION (10 de Enero de 2024): Después de estos años tengo que decir que hasta ahora nada de lo que yo había pensado sucedió, la entrada que recibe las cuchillas siguen funcionando, lo único que ya he comprado es el vaso en dos ocasiones, y hace unos días se descompuso la licuadora y el inconveniente con el que me encuentro aquí en México es que no hay asistencia para repararla, el Termistor falló y no lo puedo conseguir. Yo estoy convencido de comprar otra porque a pesar de la falla siendo honestos ya se pago su precio con el uso después de 4 años, he fabricado aproximadamente 22000 bebidas porque fabrico aprox 20 frappes por día solo en esa licuadora, tengo actualmente una Vitamix the quiet one pero puedo decir que la Blendtec es la mejor en silencio y potencia para batir aproximadamente 1 lt de producto espeso, la Vitamix tiene un diseño que evita que el batido fluya y hace vacio y se pega en las paredes. Hoy me decidí y volví a comprar esta misma.

Es un poco alto el precio pero si vale la pena, espero que dure, no genera tanto ruido al moler, y llego antes de lo previsto.

I took the blender out of the box, rinsed the container and lid with soap and water, and then assembled my first smoothie! This was so easy. I have a vitamix in my holiday home, but I bought this unit for my condo. My vitamix is too loud. This blendtex is so quiet, and powerful! I made a creamy vegetable soup later in the day. Heated beautifully! So happy.

We bought this after comparing countless reviews and visiting numerous websites that review high end blenders. It came down to choosing between Blendtec and Vitamix - two of the biggest names in the industry.Those who are loyal to each brand will tell you why one is better than the other. Head to head YouTube videos demonstrate how the Vitamix performs better when it comes to crushing ice and making smoothies without needing to add any water or juice to help with blending. That is made possible with the tamper which the Blentec blenders do not have.In the end, it came down to two factors: noise and cost. Vitamix sells a model called "The Quiet One" that comes with an enclosure case but only has a 3 year warranty and is intended for commercial use. The price is steep that comes in around $1,900. Our next choice was the Ascent A3500 but we could not imagine trying to tolerate running a noisy blender in the kitchen. Although there are aftermarket acrylic enclosures for sale, an educated guess as to why these are not endorsed is because they do not provide adequate ventilation and may cause the blender to overheat.We ended up ordering the Blendtec 800 Pro given its price point and low noise level. We have learned to make smoothies without needing a tamper by layering the ingredients in the recommended order: liquids on the bottom, soft stuff in the middle (veggies/fruits that are not frozen) and ice/frozen fruits on top. The proportion of the ingredients also matters - too much ice or frozen fruit and yes, you will need to stop and use a spatula/shake it up and use the ice crush function a few times until it starts to blend again.After about 2 months of use, we are very happy with this blender because we can talk in the kitchen while it runs. It is so easy to clean with warm water and a drop of dish washing liquid using the Smoothie function. It's been used to make lots of smoothies and we were able to also replicate the avocado milkshake that we usually order when eating out at our favourite Vietnamese restaurant.We'll update our review after we use it to make other things like soups, nut butters or icecream.

Las licuadoras Blendtec son sinónimo de calidad y excelencia y esta licuadora no es la excepción.La Blendtec PRO 800 es si no la más avanzada del mercado doméstico e incluso me atrevería a decir del comercial si está en el top 3. La calidad de los materiales es insuperable, la interfaz es avanzada ya que cuenta con una pantalla táctil con funciones preprogramadas que garantizan que tu preparación sea siempre consistente.Y su mayor atributo en específico de este modelo, su cubierta de acrílico es asombrosa, efectivamente aún introduciendo hielo para un Frappe, que en una licuadora normal sería sumamente ruidosa, en esta licuadora no se escucha casi nada, prácticamente tendrías que tener tu oído pegado a la licuadora para escucharlo.El costo es mucho mejor que en otros lugares. Y no hablar de la entrega de Amazon que siempre es excelente.
