My daughter has been dancing since she was 2. Her foot runs on the narrow side so Capezio jazz shoes run too wide for her. We found that Bloch in a narrow works perfect for her foot. It was difficult to figure out the sizing after 1.5/2. You need to know that it moves to a women’s sizing after that. So my child that wears a little girls 2.5/3 needed to go to a women’s 5.5. Just a heads up.

So we received the 9N and it was also TOO Small!!!! Does Bloch think that narrow feet are also short??! Completely ridiculous that the sizing is this different. Feel badly for Amazon, not their fault, but they are losing money on shipping back and forth!These are fine jazz shoes, but my daughter who normally wears, AND measures a size 7.5N tried these on in an 8N and they were too small... so small in fact, we are going to buy a 9N... Is it really that hard to make shoes in one standard sizing???? Would save everyone time and money! I do appreciate the fact that Bloch makes narrow sizes though!

I wear a size 8.5 in shoes unless they run small (Nike I usually size up to a 9). My old Capezio tap shoes are an 8.5 and they still fit me now as an adult. I took everyone's advice and ordered an entire size up from an 8.5 and the 9.5 are too big. I am returning for a 9 because from the fit of the 9.5, I believe the 9 will be nice and snug without being too tight. I did order the tan model just for reference. I would say a half size up is probably best for the tan.

My daughter wears a 7.5 and has a narrow foot. I ordered the 9 N and they were a little big. She's able to wear them but i'm thinking an 8.5 N would have been a perfect fit. She wears them for performing in so the looseness isn't ideal and thick socks are a no go. Otherwise, they are a good shoe and previous pairs of this same shoe always last longer than her size.

This moulds to the foot and gives a lovely line. They look fabulous on stage. If you have to wear tights in competition then try not to wear the shoe without as it when training ad it moulds to the foot and when tights are worn later it can feel/be slippery. They do not wear well as a regular class jazz shoe for those doing many hours. My daughter can go through a pair roughly every 4-6 weeks regularly doing more than 20 hours training a week.
