This thing looks like it could have a few different uses from low voltage lights, to jacuzzi pump, swimming pool something, yada yada. A few different schematics are included w/ different diagrams high and low voltage. I thought it was just a 120v plug in type remote.. Nope, many more uses, just need to have a better understanding of electricity than I.

This WiFi pool timer will keep me from having to go outside to get the pump going. Instruction booklet included. Nice sturdy case and antenna on the top. Timer works as it should. Functions as it should. I received what was advertised in the listing unlike another reviewer. No complaints and the value for the money is there. Beats the manual timer any day!

This timer appears as durable as my old one, but is a lot less noisy. The fact that it is set up for wi-fi is a plus

I rarely run across an item that I rate as 2 star, but I feel I'm being generous here. I have had a mechanical timer on my pool for a long time and I decided that I would upgrade to a WIFI enabled one just to make things easier. I ran across this timer and decided to give it a shot since it didn't look overly complicated.The timer was delivered and the box clearly states it is a "Outdoor WI-Fi Smart Timer Box". When I opened the box, I found a regular semi-mechanical timer. The initial give-away is the lack of antenna on the top of the box and the timer doesn't match the timer shown on the box. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and pulled the cover off the timer, but the circuit board is also just a regular timer. I'm not sure if the timer was put in the wrong box or switched along the way, but I'm positive it is the wrong timer. Also, the wiring/switch instructions attached to the inside of the cover were peeling away. These instructions need to stay on that cover for future reference and cannot fall off.Overall, a pretty big disappointment as I will be wary of buying another one.
