Good lift. Lots of flow. Works as expected for my hydroponics.

If you're looking for a small pump, that will automatically turn on when the water level reaches a certain point, this is handy addition. Thinking specifically around condensate that would come from either an air conditioner or a high efficiency furnace. It does seem to pump the water well. You want to make sure that the container you put it in is wide enough, as if you put it in a narrow container the water that flows back into the container will trigger the pump to cycle again and it will cycle endlessly. This could have been prevented if they had included a back flow valve check valve however that is not included.

Ordered to auto drain a catch basin for a floor standing AC unit, it works amazing. Simple setup with just a pump and cut to length tubing. Comes with enough length of tubing to suit most use case scenarios and uses common size tube if you need to pick up more at just about any hardware store. The auto drain functionality works well and the pump is overall fairly quiet. Only used for about a month so time will tell if it holds up as others have reported some issues. Would definitely recommend based on my usage.

Okay honestly I never thought I would have a reason to love a water pump. Especially when I opened the box and saw something maybe 1/10th of the size I was expecting. I thought this would be similar in size to a condensate pump, but no, it's barely larger than 2 quarters. But it's phenomenal!! I got this when *both* of my A/C units (the indoor part) were leaking water onto the floors AND the condensate pump stopped working. All I had to do was drop this little pump inside of the basin of the other one and it pumped out all the water in only a few seconds!! I was so pleasantly surprised; it made it SO easy. So then I pumped out the drain pan of one of them and all the water out of my wet-dry vac as the bottom port was clogged with dirt. SO easy. You literally just plug this thing in, stick a tube on aiming somewhere you want the water to go, and then drop it in the water! It will immediately pump the water out until it's all gone, and at a pretty solid pace! I never thought I would want a water pump but I will find many uses for this in the future.

I needed to replace the pump inside a waterfall decoration piece that we found at a rummage sale. Physically, this was a perfect fit inside the reservoir. I had to enlarge the hole on the decorative piece to feed-in a bit of the supplied tube. Glad the tube was included.I also like the auto-shutoff this pump has to prevent it from running dry.I wish there was an easy way to adjust the flow, though. 12 volts made the water too strong for the decorative piece. Using my bench power supply, I was able to adjust the voltage to find a good flow rate. Lucky for me, 5 volts was that magic number... Magic indeed, because I can just power it with ubiquitous USB power, using an adapter. The pump drew about 150mA of current at 5V. The startup current was about 250mA at 5V.
