This is the biggest journal/notebook/account book I've found so far in the US, and it did not disappoint. Very high quality paper, binding, and cover. Worthy of some intense journalling or recording. I'm not disappointed.

Fantastic book to keep information in. Great pages to write on and solid binding. Classy and extremely well put together. I suspect it will last for generations so you may want to consider your order of documentation.

This book is huge! Very Old School feel to it. Nice hardback cover. Paper is well made. This is a wonderful ledger! It will hold all you need and more!

A local restaurant has used one of these books as a guestbook since I was a kid. I drooled over the heavy tome for years. The sheer size of it combined with the quality binding and heavy paper would not only look beautiful when stored on a shelf, it would last far longer than any journal I've ever used.Years ago I asked the owners where they bought them. They gave me the name of the store. I went there and choked at the price. Back then it was over $200, so I passed on the purchase and sadly moved on.But I still dreamed of owning one of these beautiful books. The other day it occurred to me that thanks to the Internet that the prices may have dropped a bit, so the next time we went to the restaurant I looked through it to find out the exact brand and model and searched online. Delighted at the price drop I quickly purchased one.It is every bit as perfect as I imagined it would be. The book is quite heavy; it is not practical to haul it around but since I don't carry my journal with me everywhere (I usually write a bit at night before bed) that is not an issue. I can pour out my heart in this volume and my ramblings only fill a couple of pages. That's a major improvement since I can tear through a traditional journal in a couple of weeks when I've got something in my head I need to work through!The pages are heavy enough that even when you write on the back of them with a pencil the pencil on the front side barely transfers to the other page if you don't write with a heavy hand. The ribbon bookmark makes it easy to flip to the next page when you are ready to write some more. While I've not christened mine with ink yet, I could tell from the book at the restaurant that the ink doesn't bleed through the pages even after years of use (their current volume is several years old).It is an absolute dream to know that I finally have a journal that will LAST. I suspect that this book will take almost a year to fill. Considering how quickly I fill normal journals I'll actually end up saving money in the long run. I will definitely be purchasing more of these as time goes on.
