I wanted to get a decent inexpensive set of ratcheting wrenches because they work so much faster than having to reposition them after each turn. A ratcheting wrench is better than a socket wrench in some situations when you don't have the space.These don't disappoint. They are not the highest quality, but certainly work well enough for basic work to assemble things, and adjust bikes and do other tightening and loosening. To loosen, you just flip the wrench over. There is no "switch" or button like on a socket wrench, to change the rotation direction.My only gripe now that I've use them, is I wish they had a 15 degree offset, so that when you tighten something against a flat surface your knuckles/fingers don't get scraped up.

These wrenches are solid. The set covers all the sizes you need, from 1/4" up to 3/4", so you’re pretty much covered for any job. They're steel and they feel sturdy and can take a beating without bending or breaking. The roll-up pouch is a nice touch, keeps everything together and makes it easy to throw in the toolbox or take to a job. The ratcheting mechanism works smooth as silk, no more messing around with constantly adjusting the wrench—just flip it and keep going. I’ve used ‘em for everything from car repairs to putting together furniture, and they haven’t let me down yet. Definitely a good buy for the price.

It's not often I require wrenches, but when I do, I increasingly find that my old, cheap ones just aren't cutting it any more. I need a wide enough variety made of good quality materials...and that's just what this set delivers.With regular wrenches at one and and ratcheting wrenches at the other, these are useful for a wide variety of jobs and will hold firm in places where adjustable wrenches just become a nuisance.The steel is excellent quality and the ratchets seem well fitted and sturdy.The canvas case makes it very easy to carry the full set and allows for easy storage, with the inside folding flap ensuring the tools will not fall outAn overall excellent set of wrenches for gifting or personal use.
