THIS IS NOT A BOSCH TOOL!! This is absolute garbage. It was glued in its case and had to be cut away. The construction is horrible as the digital display rattles around in the level. I never turned it on. Don't waste time or money.

I have not been able to get into too much stuff currently to test the various functions offered through the digital screen, but it seems to work at minimum like a level with the air bubble. I have tested it on my basic items in my home: Kitchen table, coffee table, side tables. and my computer desk. The air bubble of the traditional level works seemingly fine. The overall construction on the level seems a bit odd on the exterior, top and bottom, metal has very small ridges in the metal leaving me to question if this may somehow impact to the reporting function in some way. The setting to report the angle seems to be highly responsive with the changing and appears to match within reasonableness to my use.The buttons are responsive and immediate. There is not a delay in clicking to a response on the level, which is great in my opinion, and the HOLD function works well to keep the info of what was just measured. Overall, a good level that should get someone through the typical in-home uses you would need to get through basic level needs.

I always found it a bit sketchy to just judge whether or not you think a bubble is in between two lines. This digital level solves that problem. I found the instructions a little challenging to understand, but after working with the level a bit, I figured out how all of the features work. The auditory tone that you can toggle on and off is a handy feature. I often find myself trying to level a picture frame from a position where I can't see the level well, or get at eye level. The tone is really helpful for this situation. It's like a stud finder where you try to move the piece until you reach a consistent tone. I also like that it not only reads level, but can also read relative angles. This is great for working on a non-level surface (like my garage floor which slopes toward the door). I can push the power button to toggle to relative mode when the level is on a surface, then confirm if surfaces are parallel. If you don't follow that, don't worry, it makes complete sense once the level is in your hands.

I typically use a Stabila, but since TSA confiscated I needed something quick.. thought I’d try this. I needed the % mode to check sidewalk slopes. Outside this was not legible! The blue numbers on a black background + a glare was so frustrating. I also missed not having the digital readout also on top of the level. I looked like an idiot with my face pretty much on the sidewalk covering the glare trying to read the numbers. Needless to say I’m returning and will gladly buy the $300 Stabila (and just check it next time I fly!) .

It seems to be really accurate. 😕
