El FS-5000 es un pequeño y mediano dispositivo de alarma de dosis de radiación de alto rango, cuya función principal es monitorear los rayos x, y y beta. El detector del instrumento es un contador Geiger de vidrio (en adelante, el tubo gm), que se caracteriza por una alta precisión y sensibilidad de medición. El producto utiliza un procesador de consumo de energía ultra bajo de 32 bits y está equipado con una pantalla LCD TFT de 2,4 pulgadas, que es fácil de operar y tiene una fuerte capacidad anti - interferencia. El equipo proporciona alarmas de sonido, luz y vibración, y el umbral de alarma es ajustable. Cuando se alcanza el umbral de alarma, se emite una alarma para recordar al personal que preste atención a la seguridad. Los principales indicadores técnicos del instrumento se ajustan a las normas nacionales e internacionales. I'm sure this is an excellent product for the price but i had difficulty understanding the readout and user interface to the point where I sent it back for a simpler version

I purchased this on August of 2024 and the manufacture date on the unit shows May 2024. It's a very recent production unit. First thing you notice when you open up the unit is that it uses machine screws and threaded inserts instead of self tapping screws. Most people would not notice this let alone open up the unit. It's a very good indicator of quality. Next, you'll see the Geiger muller tube. It is a J321 tube which is as high quality as you can get within the affordable range. The tube itself is also manufactured in 2024 as indicated by the print on the tube. Next you'll notice that the solder points on the PCB are quite clean and the components are positioned well. The tube itself is snapped into a clip on the board but you'll also notice some solder on the clips themselves so there is no concern of the tube coming loose when jostled. The plastics are light while feeling well made. There are no sharp edges and they line up quite well. It's not a heavy unit but it's built well. The USB port has a rubber cover that keeps dust out. The only issue I can see is that the back of the unit has open vent holes next to the tube. This is probably to help increase the sensitivity to beta radiation but can be an issue if radioactive dust/dirt get in and settles around the tube causing it to read high constantly.Data logging through the USB port is apparently available but I have not tested it. The screen is of good quality and gets the job done with clear text. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. In terms of features, it includes the signature clicks that everyone wants to hear, audible alarm, LED indicator, and even a haptic vibration motor to alert you if your environment exceeds your customizable dose rate threshold and total dose threshold. It also has a graph that shows dose rate over the last 3 minutes. Overall, very pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of this unit.

Al principió no se por que no me quería responder el guardar del menú para programar el tiempo de apagado de la luz de fondo, pero de repente todo comenzó a funcionar bien. Recomendaría al productor que checara ese detalle de la circuiteria.
