Same as other person comments. Slams trunk closed but doesn’t lift. It’s actually a hazard. Am returning.Have used this brand for my other car and they were great. Not sure why these ones are so bad.Easy installation

Replaced the original trunk struts on my 228i, as they were failing to push the trunk open after about halfway. Installed these and they were immediately worse. If the trunk is less than halfway open it slams closed as if it's completely unassisted. Waste of money, should've bought the OEM
