I got the green colored and in the picture it looks like a sage green with a smooth material and what i received is really just a bulky dark olive green canvas bag. Not sure how great this will hold up especially against the elements.

Great quality bag with stylish looks. Love Brevite for making these low-key looking camera bags. Not a huge target for theft and look cooler than your traditional bag.

With the price of Peak Design bags, I expected quality. I got cheap canvas with Best Buy quality camera dividers that fits hardly anything. The bag is uncomfortable and cheap. Do not buy this bag.

I waited to post a review of this bag after I had the opportunity to use it in a variety of situations, including commuting on bike, hiking, traveling, and daily carry. There are a few things this backpack does right. It's got a nice aesthetic. The variety of colors, and the style of the canvas are very nice. I've got the There is a lot of accessible compartment storage, on the top, inside, and outside, so the things you need are never too out of reach. It allows everything to stay nicely organized. The size, for me as a 5' tall person, is great and comfortable* to carry on my frame. Some backpacks, when loaded can feel like a giant turtle shell on my back, and I don't have that problem here. Some reviews complained about the dividers moving around too much, but I did not experience that. This compartment and the accessible side pocket are one of my favorite features of the bag. My primary reason for getting this bag was for something that would provide some additional padding around a Sony A7 IV, and a 35mm Nikon + a lens or two, maybe carry a Mavic Mini, not scream "I'm a camera bag and full of expensive gear", and look nice, serving this purpose in different scenarios. Here are my notes on how this bag performed for me in different situations:Commuting on bike w/ camera gear: The first downfall of this bag, for me, was that it didn't accommodate my larger Lenovo Legion 15.6" laptop in the laptop pocket. 13" Macbook Pro, just fine. The plentiful storage compartments in this bag do keep cords and accessories organized. However, if you're also using the lower portion for camera carry, it is much much more difficult to fit everything you would need for a day at a co-working space inside. A full size paper notebook would only fit alongside the laptop, if using the bottom portion for camera gear, and the top storage is very shallow, and can really only hold a book, some larger over the ear Sony headphones and wallet/keys, sunglasses case. Hard to stash a mini-keyboard, or collapsible laptop stand, and full size notebook in this bag, let along a light jacket or many other extras. Typically I have to latch the top on the highest position. This all gets heavy, and you will soon come to find out that the straps are very uncomfortable. Fabric is not very breathable, and does get hot. I think for longer train/walking commutes carrying these same types of items, one would find it cumbersome and uncomfortable. Fits a standard Nalgene bottle okay (it's a tight fit)Minimally loaded, this bag is nice for cruising around on a bike on the weekends, when it's not weighed down by mobile office gear, and you're just carrying a few things for a day out and about.Traveling w/ Camera Gear: I liked being able to have things accessible for getting through TSA checkpoints. Having the compartments make it easy to pull out film components for hand-check, and it fits nicely on top of a carry-on suitcase w/ its luggage strap. Again, found it to be almost too small to be overly useful when it came to storing many things for travel. The straps to weight distribution are not great, so long days of travel with this bag in conjunction with carrying it around a trade show floor for multiple days in a row were not ideal. I think it would again, hold up better, if not carrying a laptop and other heavier items. Camera and some light tripod alone are nice.Hiking: Again, the straps make this a super uncomfortable bag. There are no waist or chest straps, so long hikes, this bag would not do well. The fabric is durable, but I would worry about it long term. If you're just out in a large park or nature trails, it would be fine. Not ideal for more rugged outdoor use. Fits a Mavic Mini, 35mm film camera and Sony A7 IV nicely, so it was great to have a bag that could carry all this gear. (I do understand that there are better bags on the market for this purpose, just illustrating here, that I did just try it out to see how it would perform.)Daily carry: When just loading up with a couple of cameras, a lens or two, plus wallet/phone, snack, book, water bottle, (no laptop) this bag does just fine. Just pack it light and don't plan on wearing it for long periods of time.Overall, for the price, I think I'm a little disappointed in the comfort of the bag because it boasts its great storage and ease for commuters and everyday wear. I just don't think it stores that much, and there are limitations to the organization and capacity. (weight vs. comfort, and you can't have both) It's durable, and I still think I will get a lot of use out of it, and I'm hoping that overtime, the straps may soften and be less uncomfortable. It's still a good bag to throw some light gear in and meander around the city with.

I like this far more than I expected to. It really only fits my camera and one other lens… Two other lenses if I leave out my 70 - 200 lens. But, for a daypack, it’s perfect. The top part holds the extra essentials, the front pocket the spare SD cards and filters… it’s easy, fits well, and I like the way the top part slants downward. Totally lame, I know, but I have long hair, and with the more ‘boxy’ backpacks, they make my hair stick out and go every which way, and it just annoys me! With the Brevite, my hair falls along the slope of the backpack, making for a much more comfortable experience. Very happy with this purchase!
