I did modify this fixture by painting the brass part black to match the cord, as the brass color was not like an elegant tone, but more orange. With the black metal, it looks very nice. I have a can light conversion kit that I'm waiting on to attach this to, the ability to adjust the cord is great. One star removed for the pricepoint at $60 as this time, higher than exact same fixture found here and the need to tone down the brassy metal connector. I'm pleased with this lamp with the modification I made, though.

This is a nice, pretty light fixture. I love the soft green color, it reads as neutral and will coordinate with most paint colors. I ordered it to replace a 1950's ceiling light fixture, that was pretty standard back then. I like that this one is adjustable, so I can set it exactly where I want it. I've installed it (easy to do if you've changed out light fixtures before) at my back door, which has taller ceilings there, so it looks lovely. I ordered the 7.8" size, so it fits the space nicely. Very happy with this light.
