This is not as heavy or soft as one I just returned. That was wonderful in weight and softness. Problem was that it didn’t heat evenly. Now I have this one. It seems to heat more evenly which is important to me. As stated earlier, it’s not especially soft or luxurious. Where my problem is maybe I’m expecting it to get warmer even on max heat. I’m going to try it for a couple of days and decide if I’m keeping this one. My expectations vs reality.

My mother sent this blanket to me for Christmas and instantly, I fell in love - even without turning the heat on, it's warm and cozy. Quite large for a throw, too. The heat feels amazing! Even in my old, drafty New England home, I've rarely turned the heat beyond the second setting. After a few hours of shoveling snow, this blanket is perfect to take away the chill and soothe my sore muscles. I bought one for my husband since I refuse to share and he loves it too.

I loved this throw. So warm & cozy until I washed it now it doesn't heat up. Returning to seller.

I bought two of these as gifts. My husbands loves his and we not longer play the thermostat game. I’m always warm and he’s always cold. This is perfect for being cozy while watching tv. The low setting is perfect for him. My mother-in-law loves hers as well. Again, cozy while watching tv! It is not super thick, but oh sooooo soft. I would buy again.
