Fantastic little label printer on its own but together with the android app and pc software it makes a professional labeling system, to avoid tape waste just print labels as a set instead of one by one. You can open the case, leave the printer in it and print with the app and Bluetooth, the case does not block the label shoot. The shrink fit tapes work very well and goes all the way to 23.6mm HSE tape for 13.5mm diameter cable, cables thick enough to not fit 23.6mm tape probably needs a cable tag anyway but you can make TZe tape label in any diameter if needed. This is a pro level device in every way with a lot of attention to detail, ease of use and producing professional resuls.

Works great. Love the shrink wrap labels, laminated labels, and all the other label materials. The app is excellent and responsive. There is very little you can’t do with this.I had to knock a star off because upon receiving device it would not charge. When trying to test print with the battery as it arrived (2 of 3 battery bars full) it said to connect 12v 2.5A adapter. There is no input for such an adapter, just a USB-C port. However it wouldn’t charge with the included USB-C cable. I got a tip for another owner of this device to initial charge with a legacy USB charger (5v 0.5A to 1.0A) which worked and brought it to 3 bars but then upon unplugging it would go to two bars again but print. Only after this process is complete can you use a more powerful USB charger such as an iPad charger (5v 2A, I believe). Once that is done it maintains a full charge upon unplugging and using and otherwise functions as expected. Had I not got the tip, I don’t think I would’ve gotten it working normally. Not a reason to not get this unit, just follow this procedure and you’ll love using it going forward.

I haven't had this for very long yet and not a whole lot if time using it, but I am not sorry I bought it. Far superior to my 10+ year old DYMO labeler. The labeler is a little large, but still manageable if handheld using the side strap. If you have smaller hands it might be an issue but you can always just leave it on a table or other flat surface. It has a great case with plenty of tape storage.

The picture of this thing doesnt do it justice. When you get this thing and open it up, It's huge!! Shockingly big. Almost too. Big, it does a lot, and I love that. You can also put multiple different sizes labeled into it all the way up to 1" inch., which is pretty big. I like that it is easy to change the cartridges from one size to the other. You still get the p-touch software that you can design labels on your computer or your phone. I like that it connects with both your computer and phone as well. Mine came with an equally large carrying case; I swear the case is as big as a briefcase. It has plenty of room inside for lots of different. size label cartridges which is nice, I would not consider my self a hardcore labeler, although I do like to label things. I still haven't recharged the battery since the first time, and that was easy 2 months ago. so II'm going to say the battery is pretty good, although I didn't do any kind of formal test; I just thought that for as much as I've used it over the last couple of months, I was expecting to have to recharge it more than that. The only cons of this label maker is that it is huge; I don't know why it is as big as it is; maybe they need all the space inside for the functions that does. However, it just seems like there are other labelers out there with as many functions as this one has, and they are much smaller and easier to handle. Secondly, it is confusing. There is a learning curve on this labeler. Now I know they have plenty of tutorials online, with instructions and classes they teach about this labor. they are not the easiest to follow and to state the obvious, it's a labler how hard should it be to get it out of the box and start labeling right away. You should not have to take classes like It should be very easy, and it's not.,You can tell it is put together very well, and it is a solid piece of machinery. It looks and feels very durable and has rubber padding on the outside; I'm assuming it will help keep it from breaking into a million pieces if it falls because it is as big and heavy as this thing is. It is sure to break if it falls from any significant level. the brother is a great name. My last labeler was a brother, and all my copiers are brothers, so I know they make a great product. I'm sure this will last forever. I am ok with this machine for what I need this works perfectly, but if you are not an avid labeler or don't label that much at all, I don't know if it would be worth it for you because there are many other labelers out there that might not do everything this one does but they come very close and are way cheaper!!

This is a great labeler, working exactly as you'd expect from Brother.I love the ease with which you can make cable wrap and cable flag labels, though I admit I still have difficulty getting the ends to overlap exactly to make a perfect flag. The included carrying case is exceptional, allowing you to carry the labeler and accessories to job sites safely and well-protected and is reasonably rugged. As others have noted, if you expect the labeler to be "hand held" you have HUGE hands, but it's not that unwieldy. My main issue is the battery charger. Brother claims the LED will shut off when the battery is fully charged, and that using one of their recommended chargers that should take "about three hours."In reality, even when plugged in when the battery shows as full on the display, the charger LED NEVER shuts off.I've had the recommended Brother charger connected for over 24 hours, and the charging LED Is still lit.The labeler's display showed the battery was full when I started, and it still shows full now.Brother Support told me to return a previous labeler as defective to Amazon for this behavior, and the new one operates in the exact same way. It's either an error in their documentation or they are making chargers that can't tell when the battery is fully charged.
