These work for my purpose, they are a little thinner made then others I’ve purchased.

I like many realized that food goes bad in plastic containers but lasts years in glass. However food goes bad if you use the plastic lids too. I'm trying to change everything to jar stirage with metal lids with a sealing ring. Tgese are lines and have a ring. I can't say how well they will hold up, but they feal and look good. However... they fit my ball jars very good. They twist down well with no effort like canning lids shoul. (I am not canning with them) but they were difficult to get on and twust down on my plain jar purchased from our local Amish store, and thee small jar with the flower design I purchased at Dollar general and it was hard to twist a lid on it. The large Mason jar with a star on it was also hard to twist tge lids onto. I filled the jars with water and 1 leaked, it was the dollar general jar. I switched the lid and it stopped leaking, so some of the lids may not seal properly. Most of my jars are ball jars so I will kerp the lids, but I will water test them all before I use them. I actually thought I ordered wide mouth, or I would not have ordered these.
