This is advertised as a breathable and lightweight beach coverup and the photo looks like a light cotton or linen. This material is not breathable and lightweight, it is cotton but a fairly thick cotton. I was getting warm while taking the picture and it's still spring here, rainy and in the 60's. It's also a little stiff, even after being washed and air dried (it says not to put in the dryer). There is no size chart so I went with the x-large hoping that it would fit since that was the largest they had. It fits fine but it's not as loose and roomy as a beach coverup should be. It's also too hot to wear in the heat of the summer. I will wear it in the cooler weather with jeans and maybe inside with the a/c during the summer but definitely not on the beach. If you're looking for a beach coverup, I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for a shirt in this style, go for it.
