My favourite part about this buff is that it's very stretchy, comfortable and easy to wear. I use it as a headscarf under my helmet when I'm skiing because it helps keep my helmet clean and can allow my ski helmet to last longer, and I use it in the summer for sun protection when I'm in the mountains. It's very versatile as well.

While I initially purchased this Buff gaiter to protect my neck from sunburn while gardening, I quickly discovered I could pull it up over my nose and mouth as a makeshift mask for pollen or coronavirus. Material is lightweight and comfortable. Washes easily. Comes in dozens of colors and patterns.

This buff is very light,cool, and comfortable to wear - well suited for hot weather. I primarily wear it over my bald head for uv protection. In very hot weather, baseball caps can be a little bothersome across the forehead, especially when sweating. But I can barely feel this buff when wearing it. I have a couple of skull caps with upf ratings that are not quite as comfortable as this. I can feel the stretched fabric tight against my skin, but not so with this buff.I wash this in the washing machine on delicate and hang dry it. It is completely dry in 3 hours.It is good to have a material this thin and light that still maintains an official UPF 50+ rating.
