This product is great - BUT it came with a tear in the silicone! There is a tear in the corner which I didn’t notice until food got caught in it after it’s first use. So I can’t even return it! Very disappointing - because it’s perfect in every other way! INSPECT the dish really well once you receive!!

I purchased the other matching items in this set and I will say that these are great. It allows you to prepare food and place it in the refrigerator with a perfect fitting silicone lid that can be removed and placed right into the microwave. It is freezer safe and microwave safe dishwasher safe and oven safe although I have not utilized that option. The suction is great for stopping your child from picking up his or her plate and throwing it everywhere. Which is why I purchased this product. It is a thick and high-quality silicone. The only problem that I didn’t realize until a couple weeks after I purchased it after already waiting a couple weeks after I received it open it was that there were little slices or slits In between the different sections of the plate which could allow for bacteria/food/water to get stuck in between so I had to toss mine out by the time I figured it out it was too late to send back. Had the item not been defective it would’ve been a great product.

I bought a total of 5 different plates from Bumkins a year ago. Now unfortunately the plates seem to have a permanent smell/taste that we have not been able to get rid of. It's a shame cuz I really liked them for a while. Especially with the fact that they have lids. We use them when we go out to eat. They suction REALLY WELL and have high sides to help our daughter scoop up foods. But now her foods have a soapy taste whenever we use the plates. We didn't use them everyday so I can't say exactly when during the year we've had them this problem started. But we are now going to have to pitch them for her sake. I will include this exact review on all 5 plates since it happened to all of the.
