Very nice fan. It is very quiet and has a strong pull. As a contractor, I have installed a lot of fans. This is a nice fan for the price.

i hate noise but needed something powerful to remove steam quickly from a small studio bathroom before it steams up the whole bedroom and kitchen areas on either side -didn't want/need ultra quiet for the bathroom- so went with this 200CFM 2.0 sones- the noise is noticable but not too loud or rattly nor bothersome, and does exactly what we needed it to do, probably overkill for the small standard size bathroom but more importantly it seems to do the necessary. we paired it with a Hampton Bay 110CFM 1.0 sone in the kitchenette area and that one is pretty quiet in comparison with just a light hum. between both units (close together) we hope to stay steam and odor free in our small closed space. easy install replacing old fan. in a garage/outside setting would probably notice sound less, inside if you want ultra-quiet stick to 1 sone or less.

Moves lots of air and is quiet. Installation was easy in new construction, and it looks like it can be removed easily after the drywall is up if needed.

I bought the 150 CFM fan and fully expected it to be very noisy, but it wasn't. I installed it with smooth HVAC venting, not the flexible corrugated stuff and that helps to reducing the noise, but even the electrician was surprised at how quiet it was when he hooked it up - Especially after I told him the price. Great fan for the money!
