Purchased this one because the memory was advertised to be 300 minutes, which was larger than most that had this pen's appearance. Received it yesterday and the first thing I did was charge it full and test how long it will last. It only lasted 135 minutes. not even half of what is advertised. Tested it a second time and it was no better.

Records as advertised, but it is not 1080 quality, the video frame size is 1080, but not the video quality. It is grainy and the date AND time stamp has to be manually set before every use in a text file on the camera storage. The video format you can tell is .avi format which is not a high quality format. The battery will not last 300 minutes, it will come close. I have included a screen capture of the video. Again, a bit grainy. Does capture audio AND video as advertised just fine. The video blurs really easy if you move to fast with it if you are on the move with it. Best to set the pen down let it capture. No front indication it is recording, just on the back of the pen. If anyone take a closer look at the pen they will clearly see the camera lens on the pen clip.Does come with several ink refill wells, USB C cable for charging and connecting to your computer to update the time stamp text file and access videos.The barrel of the pen is a bigger executive style pen (it is bigger barreled than a sharpie permanent marker) In a cluster of pens you cannot really tell as in my image I have attached. You twist the end of the brass looking tip to extend and retract the pen to write with. The instructions are pretty straight forward and nothing complicated in them or how to use the pen.The value for what the pen seems to be fair for what it does, but the graininess of the video is something to be desired. Would be a fun gag gift or if you needed to capture video to prove lets say the cleaning lady took something off your desk or someone came to mess with your desk. Might not be able to see clearly the face of the person, but you would be able to capture the action of something coming in and removing an item.

This camera hidden in a very nice looking pen is discreet and portable both as a surveillance tool or to record some fun moments. After opening the box I immediately plunged the top of the pen thinking it would release the pen tip, it didn't.Charging the pen up while reading the easy to understand instructions, is when I found that twisting the tip of the pen will eject the tip of the cartridge for writing. As for being a writing tool, the pen tip rolled nicely and the ink flowed smoothly. I'm glad they provided little tools and some extra ink refills.The seller posted the pen has a 1080P FHD camera, with crystal-clear video, and that it is equipped with a large 128G memory card. The pen has a long-lasting battery, at 300 minutes of continuous recording, but I didn't run it for 5 hours straight to find out.When I first plugged the pen into my laptop I saw the first video was of me, when I first plunged the pen top, I didn't know I had activated and started the first recording. That's how easy it was to use. I found the quality of my video and audio recordings to be adequate. The overall design is functional as both a pen and camera.

This is a quality item that worked right out of the box. It had a charged battery & test runs came up on my desktop with no programming required. Could be better:• Test shoot at standing subject from my seated position needs lens modification to avoid shooting too high--subject's head was near bottom of screen. Pen was in my shirt pocket.• Machining of threads for opening of pen not good. Required much effort to open for first time. A small drop of synthetic lube did much to fix.I'd give it 4 /5*.
