This hidden camera car key is a discreet and convenient way to add extra security. Designed to look like a regular car key, it blends in seamlessly and doesn’t attract attention. The video quality is surprisingly good for such a small device, and the motion detection feature helps capture only what’s important. It’s easy to set up and can be a useful tool for home security, monitoring your car, or any other situation requiring a discreet camera.That being said, while it does exactly what it advertises—recording videos and storing them on an SD card—it’s not the easiest to use. Different buttons have different functions depending on how many times or how long you press them, making it tricky to operate, especially without the instructions. If you lose them, navigating the controls becomes even more difficult.I was able to record a couple of videos using motion detection and save them to my son’s computer. However, since I usually rely on my phone for everything, I found this device a bit too fiddly for my liking. While it works as intended, the learning curve and lack of user-friendliness make it less appealing for someone who prefers a more intuitive experience.

I have ordered several hidden cameras through the Cine program, and this is one of the best!Positives:+Small+Doesn't look like a hidden camera+Decently priced+Comes with everything you needNegatives:-Steep inital learning curve-Weird video codes-Audio delay when recordingWhen I tested this with my wife, she absolutely paid no attention to it. I think this camera does really well at not LOOKING like a camera. Some products you can take one look at and tell they are cameras, not this one.You really need to set aside time to practice using this camera before you look to use it 'in the field'. It can be hard initially to get the different modes down.I mostly used the continuous recording mode so I could see it up, put it in my pocket and then lay it down to record without fiddling with buttons. I'd recommend getting a few keys to complete the disguise. I think this would work awesome as a camera for your hotel room to make sure maids aren't stealing anything -- just right up a rental car tag and you're set.The other cons besides learning curve are the video codec and an audio delay when recording. The video file didn't play natively when I transfered it from my computer to my android phone. I had to use VLC player but you can't use this if you place the file in your Secure storage.The video files get recorded in 10 minutes chunks, and I noticed that the audio was out of sync with the video by 5~ seconds. This looks like some blank screen on the camera where you hear sound but no video. Kind of annoying but not a deal breaker and you can fix it in post processing if you're skilled.

Very handy device! The camera looks just like a regular car key, no one suspects a thing. The video quality is clear, 1080P, and it records sound well. Motion detection works accurately. Perfect for surveillance or just to have on hand. Highly recommend!
