I have several versions of the Hawaiian sling spear, but I never ordered a travel spear as I was afraid of the durability and how it could ruin a scuba trip if it failed. This spear is absolutely solid and would take a whale to break it! The shaft segments are very solid and thick and are really smooth with no splintering. The fittings are a heavy stainless steel with deep coarse threads. It comes with 4 different spear options, a fish keeper, an extra sling band, and a case that is a real heavy duty dry bag with roll up buckle top. This is not a mainline brand, but I will be looking for it in the future as this is a really quality build. 100% Recommend.

I really like this spear. Really well made and has multiple tips that can be switched out easily. Can be used as a Hawaiian Sling or hand-spear to equal efficiency.
