So many devices these days can't be turned off and are always in standby mode. I like to turn off my devices mechanically when not in use (things like my washing machine, air conditioners, microwave, toaster oven, model train power supply, guitar pedals, video game consoles, etc.), not only to save electricity but also to protect them from spikes and surges. And it's a pain to plug things in and unplug them between uses all the time. These solve that problem for me, though they are a bit pricey, but they are high quality and cut off both hot and neutral for extra protection, so they're worth the price, IMO.

Good heavy duty durable design and function with a bright light on/off switch and just the right length of cord. Everyone who sees it says, I gotta me one or two of those.

I pulled a power supply out of an old server to use for a different purpose. The "on/off" switch and wiring for the power supply as originally used was impractical for how I'm now using it. This simple inline switch works perfectly for turning the power supply on/off. While inexpensive, it's built like a tank. Very solid, very study with a prominent click when you flip the switch. The fact that the switch lights up is also very nice for something in this price range. The cord is not at all long, but as an inline switch, that's not really an issue, at least for my use. While I'm using it in a computer electronics setup, it would work equally for a drill press, bench grinder, etc. and hold up to the rigors of a workshop environment.

This is a simple switch that can be used to give any electronic device convenient on/off capabilities. I use it to turn my fridge on and off, for instance. Beware: the cord is very short.

Lo uso para apagar extensiones y me resulta práctico, no lo veo como uso interior de casa, ya que es no estético, pero el uso en áreas abiertas combinadas con extensiones que no quieres ir hasta el origen del tomacorriente, es ideal.

Todo el producto se siente de buena calidad, muy práctico para cargar el teléfono sin tener que estar conectado y desconectando el cargador.
